Welcome to the world of Gravity, where coffee is an obsession that unites roasters, blenders and baristas with the wild-eyed acolytes they know as customers. Gravity was founded in 1997 by David Burton as the red-headed stepchild of the Burton Hollis range; an outlet for experimentation and a playground for the coffee connoisseur. Today, Gravity blends are still drum-roasted to order every day in South Auckland with each roast cup-tested to ensure complete quality and consistency and packed immediately to lock in the freshness.

Blending is the art and the science of making great coffee, and Gravity exists to give blenders a chance to push the boundaries in the quest for something unique. We start with a profile in mind, an experience we want to create for the drinker, and then we find the combination of beans that will give us that result.

Each Gravity mix is a pure expression of the blender’s art, a combination of Arabica beans and origins that aims for something more than just the sum of its parts. And when the blend has been perfected, we combine the unroasted beans by machine so that we know we can hit the bullseye every time.

For those in need of a serious caffeine infusion, Wakey Wakey is punchy and full of flavour, good enough to kick start any morning.

AM/PM
A medium-roasted blend of South American, Indian and African origins, AM/PM has a smooth flavour and full-bodied finish – superb any time of the day or night.

If you’re looking for a reason to have a second cup, G4 provides it with an intense, rich taste up front that quickly clears leaving you hankering for more.

FEEL GOOD
Fair trade, organic beans from four continents are blended to give you a cup that caters to your karma – a rich, full-bodied blend with a dark golden crema, soft earthy tones, sweet mild acidity and milk chocolate notes in the finish.

AFTER HOURS
A delightful Columbian Arabica coffee that’s had the caffeine removed by the natural Swiss Water method. The result combines the pleasures of proper coffee with a good night’s sleep afterwards.
